The first time I fought Nick Diaz, I trained very hard.  I knew I had a great fighter to deal with.  He has been in the cage with some of the best fighters in the world.  With that said, I knew I had the perfect tools to beat him.  Although the fight ended because of a cut I gave him, I severely imposed my will on him the entire first round.  I was very happy with the outcome because it was the first MMA title I won.  The fight made my name in the sport and I thank Nick for giving me the opportunity to fight him.
